INGREDIENTS
We have replaced eggs and dairy with a range of plant-based alternative ingredients across all our products with no compromise on taste or texture.
We use a range of vegetable & coconut based oils and creams; a varying combination of dairy-free milks; dairy-free chocolate and a selection of fresh fruits and nuts to deliver amazing flavours to you.
ALLERGENS
Our Bon Bons and Cake Bars contain no eggs or dairy and are therefore suitable for those following a lacto-vegetarian or lactose-free diet. All our products contain wheat flour and so are not suitable for those suffering from coeliac disease, gluten intolerance or sensitivity.
Here at Makey Cakey, we do our utmost due diligence when carefully selecting the ingredients that go into our scrumptious goodies. While every care is taken to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that they will be 100% free of dairy or eggs. In case of severe allergies or strict dietary choices, consumption is left to customer discretion.
PRODUCTION
All surfaces and equipment are cleaned and sterilised before any of our products are prepared. All equipment is exclusively used for the production of vegan treats. Refrigeration facilities are likewise solely dedicated to these products.
All our products are prepared and packed with the utmost care and we have every intention that you receive it in the same pristine state it left us. Sadly, sometimes items may be unavoidably displaced and become misshapen during transit.
As we are a small batch bakery, all orders must be recieved by 2pm on Friday and posted to you by the proceeding Wednesday.
For bespoke or corporate orders, delivery times may vary.
Our Cake Bars are best stored in a cool, dry place and kept away from direct sunlight.
If stored in the fridge, they should be kept in an airtight container.
As our Bon Bons are a naturally soft product, they need to be kept cool and are best served chilled. Once they are delivered to you, it is best to pop them straight into the fridge to allow them time to firm up, all ready for you to enjoy!
